css_connections_thumbnail_0912__235x303_.jpgOur Fall 2012 edition of CSS Connections is now available online headlined by a story about the successful transition of a group of young men with intellectual disabilities as they moved from Don Guanella Village in Springfield, Delaware County into a mid-sized community group home in Northeast Philadelphia. Other stories include: news about a new vision for Don Guanella Village; the contributions of high school youth as staff at summer OST Programs; the transformative experience of deacon candidates serving in CSS programs; the positive summer internship of a De LaSalle Vocational student; the impact of the Montgomery County Food Cupboard; as well as features on Br. Brian Henderson of St. Gabriel’s Hall, and a Notre Dame Mission Volunteer who now works as a full-time social worker for us. Please take a few minutes to read through this issue, and perhaps pass it along by sharing the link with those you know who might find interest in learning about our good work.
